LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

INTRODUCTION:
•Greeting and short engaging warm-up activity: Ask "Have you ever written or received a letter? Who was it from/to?"
•Review of the previous lesson: Ask "What are the three seasons of Myanmar?"
•Check of students’ prior knowledge related to the topic: Discuss why people write letters to friends.
•Announcement of today’s lesson topic: Explain we will learn how to write a friendly letter to a classmate.
TEACHING METHODS:
•Letter Analysis: Teacher reads the sample letter aloud and points out its structure: greeting, body (sharing hobby, asking question), closing with name.
•Topic Brainstorming: Teacher leads a discussion on the example topics and encourages students to think of their own topics.
PRACTICE ACTIVITIES:
•Parts of a Letter: In pairs, students identify and label the parts of the sample letter (Greeting, Body, Question, Closing).
